As she hurls herself headlong at modern living, Fleabag is thrown roughly up against the walls of contemporary London, sleeping with anyone who dares to stand too close, squeezing money from wherever she can, rejecting anyone who tries to help her, and keeping up her bravado throughout.

Sami is a middle-class Palestinian businessman living in Jerusalem who is visiting, with his wife and son, the remote Arab village he grew up in for his younger brothers wedding. He's eager to leave but is stopped by a sudden and unexplained military lockdown that traps everyone in the village with no way out.

An anonymous woman places a phone call to the police accusing her abusive boyfriend of committing a murder another man was imprisoned for, but flees before additional information can be gathered. Hotshot detective June Lenker takes the case, bringing her in the sights of Daniel Hegarty, who secured the previous conviction.
